Toilet Repair, Replacement, And Installation Services
Toilets can be the messiest of jobs, so people often opt to call a trusted plumber to take care of their issues quickly and easily, instead of trying to figure it out themselves. That’s no surprise. But it’s no problem for us, with our experience – we’ve figured out all the hacks that make the job easy and fairly mess-free.
If you’re not sure what your options are, read below. Sometimes you don’t even know what the problem is – and that’s where our expertise comes in particularly handy. We’ve seen all the problems and we’ve worked with all the brands, so we can diagnose and have your issue fixed in no time.
Whatever your toilet woes are, though, count on Peoria Plumbing Pros to deliver the best quality services in town.
Clogged Toilet Repair
Clogged toilets fall into one of two categories: messy but easily handled with a plunger, and messy and requiring a drain snake to clear the clog. It doesn’t matter which you’re dealing with, we’re happy to help. We’re able to assess what tool is needed for the job, and we have them all ready and waiting in the van.
Most people don’t own a drain snake, and even if they do, it might not be the right one for the job – there are different gauges and some are too heavy-duty, leading to pipe damage. We’ve seen and cleared all kinds of clogs, so we have experience and training in which one is right for the job.
Instead of just dumping liquid drain cleaner down your pipes – which can be corrosive and cause damage – call Peoria Plumbing Pros. We’ve got you covered.
Leaky Toilet Repair
Most toilets will leak over time. There are various factors that go into the deterioration of a toilet as it ages, but the end result is a steady trickle of water out from under your toilet. It isn’t always dirty water, but that sometimes also happens.
Repairing a leaky toilet can be tricky, because you need to get the steps in the right order to avoid further problems – such as turning off the water first. We’ve replaced so many toilets in our years of doing business that we know exactly what’s needed to clean up your leaky toilet.
If your toilet is leaking, we can determine what’s causing it, and whether your toilet can be repaired or you just need a whole new one.

New Toilet Replacement And Installation
One of our favourite jobs is helping our clients upgrade their space by turning their old, barely adequate bathroom into a beautiful new space. It’s amazing how little upgrades like a new toilet make a huge difference.
Some people will look for a new toilet to help them save water, others because they want the new sleek-side (that’s far easier to clean), and still others replace their toilets due to changing mobility needs. No matter what it is, we can help advise, and we can install them all.
Call Peoria Plumbing Pros for all your new toilet installation needs.
24 Emergency Toilet Repair
Of course, when you have an emergency, what you need is a trusted and experienced plumber there for you quickly. We have 24/7 service, which means that no matter when you call, we will come and solve your plumbing emergency.
Our clients have found that this is one of the foremost reasons to build up a relationship with a properly certified plumber. When you have a reliable plumber in your pocket, you know you can trust them fix the problem efficiently and not price-gouge when your back’s against the wall.
Call us at Peoria Plumbing Pros any time, day or night – we’ll keep your toilet running.
How A Toilet Works
Now that we’ve explained the big problems, here’s a quick overview on how a ‘healthy’ toilet works.
When you flush the toilet, the handle that’s attached to a chain in the tank will lift the flapper. This opens the flush valve, and it deploys the water from the tank down into the bowl. This extra water forces water down through the toilet bowl trap into the drain.
Once the back tank is empty, the flapper (also known as a ‘stopper’ or ‘tank ball’) closes, and water runs until it reaches its limit again. A float mechanism is used to determine optimal height and cause the water flow to then turn off.
Common Toilet Problems
Other than the ones we covered above, here are more common toilet problems that we have experience with:
- Plugged rim
- Cracked base
- Handle problems
- Plugged drain
- Overflowing bowl
- Large objects stuck in bowl, drain or pipe
- Leaking valve
