Pipes & Lines: Repair, Replacement, & Installation
We offer many services, and among them is pipe and lines repair and/or maintenance. Although these are very different categories and require different talents, we have the experience to call ourselves experts in them all.
If you’re facing problems with your pipes or main line, give us a call. We’ll send one of our friendly, experienced, and capable plumbers out to make things right.
Below are just a few of the pipe and line repair and installation services we offer.
Burst Pipe Repair
The most common reason for burst pipes – due to freezing – isn’t a problem for us here in Arizona. But that’s not the only way your pipes can burst.
The second most common reason for burst pipes is a result of overly zealous tree roots. Your pipes can sometimes condensate, particularly in the hotter months of the year. And when this happens, any nearby trees will be able to sense that water source and send their roots growing in that direction. As the roots wrap around the pipe, it may end up causing pressure on it that can, eventually, lead to it bursting.
This is especially true if a pipe has a tiny crack in it. While it may only leak a few drops per day, the tree’s roots will push their way through it in search of more water, only to create a larger leak that simultaneously blocks any water from passing through.
As well, you might have old pipes that have just worn out over the years.
Whatever the reason for your burst pipe, it’s bad news for your home. Turn off the water supply immediately to prevent further damage to the area, and call Peoria Plumbing Pros.
Leaky Pipe Repair
A pipe can be leaky for many reasons, including wear and tear, damage, corrosion, or others. However, if you find a leak, whether it’s from noticing a damp spot on your wall or a sagging ceiling, you’ll want to have it looked and likely replaced as soon as possible.
Once again, turn off the water to that area of the plumbing as soon as you can, or even to the entire house, if need be. If the ceiling is what’s wet, be sure to put a waterproof tarp underneath the whole section, and find the biggest bucket you can to put under the epicenter.
Then give us a call and we’ll be right there to get you back to rights.
Pipe & Main Drain Line Repair & Installation
We don’t only specialize in repairs, we also have significant experience in pipe and line installations. We’ve worked with clients on their dream kitchen renovations, and also helped our customers understand the plumbing parts of what they need to move or expand a bathroom in their homes.
We can make suggestions to help reduce the costs of your renovations a little. A few clever plumbing ideas, and we might be able to help you achieve a result that has you delighted beyond your initial expectations.
24 Hour Emergency Pipe & Line Repair
One of the most common emergency calls we get is for a burst pipe in the middle of the night, but anything can happen at any time, and we’re always there to help.
In situations like these, it’s good to know you can call and have a reliable, certified plumber help you, instead of a plumber of undetermined origin. No matter what the emergency, we’re experienced in getting it handled quickly and with complete customer satisfaction.
What Kind Of Pipes Do You Have?
Until the more common use of ABS and PVC pipes, main lines in homes were often made of cast iron pipes, because they were perfect for the job. They didn’t corrode easily, were heavy-duty and sturdy, noise-suppressing, fire resistant, and also were not prone to buildup of toxic gasses.
Nowadays, plumbers use ABS or PVC pipes, because they are not as unwieldy or heavy as cast iron, but they have most of the same benefits, as well. The good news is that these are also very easy to cut and replace small sections, in case of damage. This makes them both cheaper and more cost effective.
Once upon a time, AC pipes were used, but since the health concerns surrounding asbestos came out in the 80’s, very few homes still have these in them.
